PHYS 131 - Introduction to AstronomyA descriptive introduction to the fundamental concepts of astronomy. Topics include apparent sky motions, telescopes and astronomical instrumentation, the cultural relevance of astronomy, description and classification of stars and galaxies, and aspects of Cosmology and/or Astrobiology.
