TRU 320 - First-Year Experience - Transfer Students

This is a first-year seminar for incoming transfer students. This course is designed to help students develop an increased sense of belonging in the academic and local communities; enhance student engagement with the liberal arts and sciences and technical skills; and help students develop an empathetic understanding to approach problems and challenges in an effective and balanced way.

Registration Restriction(s): This course is restricted to transfer students who have completed an Associate of Arts degree, university-approved Associate of Science, or Associate of Fine Arts degree, or the Missouri statewide core transfer curriculum (CORE 42), or (at the discretion of the instructor and transfer advisor) at least one year of full-time coursework at another institution.
