ES 342 - Concepts of Biomechanics


Concepts of Biomechanics investigates the anatomical and mechanical bases of human movement. The anatomical component focuses on the skeletal, articular, and neuromuscular systems as they affect movement. The mechanical component focuses on kinematic and kinetic principles and their relationship to human movement.

Prerequisites: ES 190 or (HLTH 190 or HLTH 290), Elementary Functions Essential Skills requirement, and exercise or health science majors.
Credits: 3 hours
