CA 300 - Tropical Ecology & Conservation


A hands-on, observation-based study of ecological research in the field in Honduras.  Students directly apply theories and concepts encountered in the classroom.  Investigation of student developed projects in a tropical environment.  Students develop projects based on information gained from reading the primary literature, as well as from appropriate literature related to area of study.  Students implement their research projects in the field, collect and analyze data, and present their results to the Truman community.
