CHEM 323 - Physical Chemistry I

Gas laws, equations of state, thermodynamics, homogeneous and heterogeneous equilibria, kinetics theory, and chemical kinetics. The phase rule, chemical activities and coefficients.

Prerequisite: CHEM 222 - Introduction to Quantitative Analysis. Co-requisites: MATH 264 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus III, PHYS 185 - College Physics I or PHYS 195 - Physics with Calculus I, and CHEM 324 - Physical Chemistry I Laboratory.
