MATH 521 - Partial Differential Equations Theory and application of quasi-linear equations of first order, series solutions, Cauchy-Kovalesky theorem, characteristics, canonical form, principle of superposition, equations of mathematical physics: the Laplace, wave, and heat equations.
Prerequisite: MATH 365 - Ordinary Differential Equations . Credits: 3 NOTE:
