SOAN 491 - Senior Seminar in Anthropology and Sociology II This 1 credit course is the second in a two course capstone sequence for Sociology/Anthropology majors. It provides an opportunity to polish the results of an upper level in or out of class experience for a wider audience. Students meet weekly to select the work they polish for a wider audience, identify the audience and the form of the polished work, and provide peer-review for project development and revision. Students make a public presentation of their work sometime during the semester.
Prerequisites: Senior status, SOAN major. Credits: 1 When Offered: (spring only) NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
