FREN 432 - Stylistics and Translation I

A practical course that introduces students to the techniques of translating literary and non-literary texts from French into English. Includes the study of French stylistics. Extensive practice in translation.

Prerequisites: FREN 320 - French Composition and Conversation and either FREN 321 - French Literature I or FREN 322 - French Literature II or FREN 326 - French for International Business Communication, or the equivalent.
