ENG 419 - Linguistics and Literary Criticism


The student surveys and practices the investigative and descriptive techniques linguistics supplies for close reading, and applies this knowledge in an extended critical inquiry.

Prerequisite: ENG 230 - Introduction to English: Engaging with Critical Communities  with a grade of “C” or higher is recommended but not required AND advanced undergraduate standing.
