ES 250 - Exercise Science Practicum I


This course is designed for Exercise Science majors who plan to attend a graduate professional school in a clinical field.  The practicum requires a minimum of 40 clock hours of experience per credit.  This course may be repeated for a cumulative total of 3 credit hours.

Prerequisites: ES 190 - Introduction to Exercise Science  OR ES 224 - Research Methods and Data Interpretation  and one of the following courses: ES 245 - Nutrition for Health, Fitness, and Sport , ES 342 - Biomechanics with Lab , ES 343 - Movement Neuroscience with Lab , ES 345 - Exercise Physiology  or ES 347 - Motor Learning with Lab .  Students must declare their concentration and receive permission from their academic advisor and instructor prior to enrollment. To be eligible to enroll in ES 250, ES student must have a minimum Major GPA of 2.5 AND Cumulative GPA of 2.0.

Restriction: Exercise Science major.
