ENG 434 - Queer Theory The study of queer theory (a form of critical theory) in relation to the humanities. This course explores how knowledge is constructed and norms are established, especially in regards to heteronormativity and people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and otherwise under the queer umbrella (LGBTQ+).
Prerequisite: ENG 230 - Introduction to English: Engaging with Critical Communities with a grade of “C” or higher AND advanced undergraduate standing OR permission of the instructor. Credit(s): 4 Course Attribute(s):
