BSAD 353 - Information Management and Data Analytics The course will discuss the role of information and systems within a business organization, focusing on their impact on the functions, management and strategy of the firm. The use of information systems and data in data analysis, business intelligence and decision making will be discussed. The management and use of databases and other data analytics tools will be emphasized and reinforced using hands on applications.
Prerequisites: BSAD 107 - Computer Applications or BSAD 153 - Introduction to Business Data Analytics with a grade of C or higher. STAT 220 - Fundamentals of Data Science is a prerequisite or co-requisite. Must be assigned one of the following Student Attributes: Upper Division BSAD Student or Upper Division ACCT Student.
