                | BIOL 511G - Comparative Animal PhysiologyA study of physiological mechanisms which major animal groups have evolved to tolerate stresses of an array of habitants/environments ranging from abyssal ocean depths to high-altitude living. Physiological basis and evolution of adaptations enabling animals to function in different environments are explored on the molecular, cellular, system, and organismal levels.
