ECON 402 - Economic Development The purpose of this course is to provide a detailed analysis of the individual-level causes of economic development. Students will learn about contemporary programs created in response to the challenges faced by low-income individuals worldwide. The course will also offer an introduction to the statistical analyses that economists use to evaluate such programs. Other areas of discussion include income distribution, employment, education, savings, and foreign aid.
