ED 621G - Psychology of Reading Combining theory and practice, this course presents the study of research, observation, and modeling opportunities to develop criteria for selecting procedures and materials that encourage children to read. Topics include effective classroom structures for reading instruction, as well as a variety of strategies for promoting word recognition and comprehension. This course should be taken before ED 623G - Reading Assessment and Implementation .
