STAT 435 - Categorical Data Analysis


Statistical methods for the analysis of categorical data: Bernoulli, Binomial, Multinomial, and Poisson probability distributions; estimation and inference for proportions; measures of relative risks, odds, and association; logistic regression; Poisson regression.

Prerequisites: (STAT 220 - Fundamentals of Data Science  or STAT 250 - Statistical Computing ), (STAT 290 - Statistics  or STAT 370 - Probability ), and (STAT 330 - Introduction to Linear Models STAT 331 - Biostatistics , STAT 375 - ANOVA/Experimental Design , STAT 376 - Nonparametric Statistics/Sampling , or STAT 378 - Linear Regression/Time Series ).
