JINS 3001 - An Interdisciplinary Exploration of Human Consciousness This course will be an introduction to the phenomena, evidence, and issues that relate to human consciousness. It will rely on many concepts from psychology and philosophy, but will also involve discussions of the idea of the conscious in medicine, religion, neuroscience, and literature. As part of the course, you will be required to write about both your own experiences with consciousness and approach the issue formally using the tools of multiple academic disciplines.
Prerequisite: JINS eligibility (55-95 credits applied). Credit(s): 3 Course Attribute(s):
