MUSI 337 - Jazz Arranging and Composition


Study of arranging and composition for small jazz ensembles. This includes fundamentals of notation, orchestration, rhythmic and melodic development, jazz harmony, vertical sonorities for 2-5 parts, and basic forms. May be repeated for credit.
