An introduction to the advanced synthetic methods and characterization techniques used in inorganic chemistry. Methods covered include inert-atmosphere techniques, NMR, and absorbance spectroscopy.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 324 - Thermodynamics and Kinetics Laboratory  with a grade of “C” or higher, and CHEM 326 - Quantum Mechanics and Spectroscopy Laboratory  with a grade of “C” or higher, and (CHEM 332 - Organic Chemistry II Lab  or CHEM 333 - Organic Chemistry Lab ) with a grade of “C” or higher.
