COMM 245 - Language & Social Reality This is a foundational course for the Communication major. The focus will be on the role that language plays in the perceived reality of human beings. It will survey rhetorical theories from their classical origins to their post-modern incarnations and applications. The emphasis is on the interaction between theory and practice, regardless of the form a message may take or platform which it is sent.
