AT 618G - Emergency Care Procedures in Athletic Training

Students are exposed to evidence based procedures for a variety of emergency situations. Students are introduced to the NATA guidelines for emergency care procedures based on current position statements. Students learn how to recognize an emergency situation, the proper actions to take, and the care to provide. Students learn the actions necessary for a mass trauma.
