CHIN 101 - Elementary Chinese I This Chinese course is designed to develop students’ overall proficiency in standard (Mandarin) Chinese. Students will acquire fundamental skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing for everyday communication in Mandarin. Fundamentals of pronunciation, simplified writing form, basic sentence structures, and Chinese culture will be introduced. Successful completion of ARAB 101 and ARAB 102 fulfills the Foreign Language Interconnecting Perspective of the Dialogues.
Credit(s): 3 Registration Restriction(s): International students who are native speakers of Chinese may not enroll in this course.
