HIST 3110 - Cahokia, Calvinists, Carolina: Vast Early America This course will explore how, between 1500 and 1800, indigenous, European, and African peoples shaped a New World in North America, beginning with the interior of the continent along the Mississippi Valley, and then focusing on the human mosaic east of the Appalachians and their deepening trans-Atlantic connections.
