ABA 680G - BABC Compliance Code, Disciplinary Systems, and Professionalism


This course introduces students to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts (the “Code”) provided by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®). The course is designed to provide students with the rules and guidelines for ethical practice as a behavior analyst as well as how to use a function-based approach to problem solving ethical dilemmas. Issues of social justice and cultural differences will be explored.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of ABA 610G - Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis I ,  ABA 630G - Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis II , ABA 620G - Introduction to Behavior Change , ABA 670G - Advanced Behavior Change , ABA 640G - Foundations of Assessment and Research , and ABA 650G - Introduction to Functional Behavior Assessment 
Registration Restriction(s): Admission to the Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis or the Master of Arts in Disability Studies: Applied Behavior Analysis, or permission of instructor.
