CHEM 312 - Foundations of Chemical Analysis An introduction to the use of classical and instrumental methods of quantitative chemical analysis. Topics explored in lecture and/or laboratory include measurement techniques, data treatment, equilibrium, titrations, acid/base chemistry and buffers, electrochemistry, analytical separations, analytical spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Four hours of laboratory per week.
