THEA 571G - History and Literature of the Theatre I This course is an integrated study of dramatic literature and theatre history from their beginnings through the Renaissance, examined in the context of important cultural trends of these periods. This is a graduate version of an undergraduate course and it requires students to write a long-form paper in a scholarly voice, employing higher level writing skills (annotated bibliographies, literature reviews, use/citation of appropriate references for the field, etc).
