LDRS 674G - Leadership Thesis

In tandem with LDRS 690G - Capstone Seminar , students completing the Master of Arts in Leadership Degree requirements choose among three culminating experiences - an Internship, a Thesis, or an applied capstone Project. The student should discuss with their faculty advisor for the Thesis whether the capstone should be completed during LDRS 674G - Leadership Thesis or following this course.

A thesis is a formal research paper that contributes to the field of organizations leadership where the student identifies an original research question, secures a faculty advisor, and produces a written paper analyzing their findings that is presented to a faculty examiner with appropriate background in the subject matter. A thesis is generally a good option for students who wish to continue onto doctoral study as it establishes the student’s capacity to do original scholarly research.

A total of 6 credit hours is required. Students may enroll for 3 or 6 credits per term, repeatable.
