CHEM 323 - Thermodynamics and Kinetics


Gas laws, equations of state, thermodynamics, homogeneous and heterogeneous equilibria, kinetics theory, and chemical kinetics. The phase rule, chemical activities and coefficients. Honors Scholar Course in conjunction with CHEM 324.

AND CHEM 331 - Organic Chemistry II  with a grade of “C” or higher
AND (CHEM 330 - Organic Chemistry I Lab  or CHEM 333 - Organic Chemistry Lab )
AND MATH 263 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus II 

(PHYS 185 - College Physics I  or PHYS 195 - Physics I ) can be taken concurrently or as a prerequisite.
