COUN 664G - Theories and Techniques of Counseling The primary focus of this course is for the student to develop an in depth understanding of the major counseling theories and interventions utilized in counseling practice. The student builds skills in critiquing, evaluating, and applying these theories. In addition, the appropriateness of each theory for multicultural settings is examined.
