Further development of language proficiency and communication skills. The use of language is facilitated by practice activities embedded in cultural and situational contexts. Emphasis on the acquisition of vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.

Prerequisite(s): SPAN 330 - Spanish Grammar and Composition with a grade of “C” or higher, or concurrent enrollment in SPAN 330. Native speakers may not take this course. Heritage learners may take this course only with permission of the instructor. Instead, native speakers and heritage learners may take any higher 300-level course.
