ES 347 - Motor Learning with Lab This course will examine scientific concepts and theories behind motor learning, skill acquisition, development, performance, and control. The course focuses on the behavioral, neural, and biomechanical aspects of motor skill acquisition and motor performance. Further, this course will examine the theoretical foundations, pedagogical influences and practical considerations relative to motor learning and skill acquisition across the lifespan. The ultimate goal is that students will be able to apply principles and strategies of motor control and learning to practice in future professional environments.
