COMM 250 - Mass Communication A foundational course for the major and minor. Overview of the crucial roles that media play in modern society, with emphasis on theoretical perspectives and ethical clarification. The course focuses on structure and history of media industries. Students gain a critical, contextual understanding of media structures, history, and theories.
Prerequisite: or or or or or and Communication Major or Minor. Credits: 3 NOTE: This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
