Program Requirements:

The Physics Minor requires the successful completion of the following courses.

Required Courses: 16 Credit Hours

PHYS 195 - Physics with Calculus I Credits: 5 hours
PHYS 196 - Physics with Calculus II Credits: 5 hours
PHYS 250 - Modern Physics I Credits: 3 hours
PHYS 275 - Vibrations and Waves Credits: 3 hours
or
PHYS 382 - Mathematical Physics Credits: 3 hours

Elective Courses: 3 Credit Hours

Select at least three credit hours from PHYS 251 Modern Physics II, or any 300- to 500-level Physics course, or NASC 400 History of Science to 1700 and NASC 401 History of Science since 1700.
