Program Requirements:

The Computer Science Minor requires the successful completion of 18 credits of the following courses or their equivalents, at least 9 of which must be taken at Truman State University.

Required Sequence:

( CS 170 - Introduction to Computer Science I Credits: 3 AND
CS 172 - Ada Fundamentals
Credits: 3 ) OR (
CS 180 - Foundations of Computer Science I
Credits: 3 )

Required Courses:

CS 181 - Foundations of Computer Science II Credits: 3
CS 260 - Object-Oriented Programming and Design Credits: 3

Elective Courses:

Additional 9 credits from CS courses. These courses must be selected from courses that are required or elective for the CS major, and numbered 191 and above. At least 6 credits must be numbered 300 or above
