Business Administration Minor

The School of Business offers students an opportunity to minor in business administration based on demand for major seats in business and accounting courses and budgeted resources. Students are admitted into the Minor in Business Administration program on the basis of scholastically competitive criteria.

The application form for the minor can be found on the School website. Applications should be submitted to the Dean. Students must meet the following minimum requirements in order to apply for admission:

1. A minimum overall grade point average of 2.50.
2. Completion of 45 credits including the following courses with a grade of “C” or better:

• ENG 190 - Writing as Critical Thinking
    
• COMM 170 - Public Speaking
    or the successful test out of COMM 170
• STAT 190 - Basic Statistics
    OR
  STAT 290 - Statistics
    
• Mathematical Mode course

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. A 2.25 GPA in minor requirements.
2. At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.
