French Minor in Translation

Program Requirements:

The French Minor in Translation requires the successful completion of 17 credits of the following courses:

• FREN 320 - Issues in Contemporary France Credits: 3
• FREN 326 - French for Business Credits: 3
• FREN 425 - Phonology and Advanced Grammar Credits: 3
• FREN 430 - French Capstone Experience I Credits: 1
• FREN 435 - French Capstone Experience II Credits: 1 (For the French Minor in Translation, FREN 430 and FREN 435 consists of a translation of a major work.)

• Students must take two of the following three classes:

• FREN 310 - French Grammar and Lexicon for Translation Credits: 3
• FREN 432 - Stylistics and Translation I Credits: 3
• FREN 433 - Stylistics and Translation II Credits: 3
