Computer Science Minor

Students can get secondary training in basic foundations of computer science by declaring a computer science minor. It’s a great way to introduce themselves to programming as well, which is a useful skill across a variety of professional fields.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
- At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.
- At least 6 credits must be numbered 300 or above.

Program Requirements:
The Computer Science Minor requires the successful completion of 19 credits of the following courses or their equivalents.
Elective Courses:
- Additional 9 credits from CS courses. These courses must be selected from courses that are required or elective for the CS major, and numbered 191 and above, with the exception that one of the courses can be CS 170 .
