French Minor in Translation

A French Minor in Translation offers students a more intense focus on French stylistics and the techniques of translation while building their speaking proficiency and knowledge. Whether students plan to pursue a career in business, communication, medicine, education, or many other professional fields, a French Minor in Translation adds an international component to their studies that greatly expands their academic and career opportunities.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
- At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.
- A maximum of six credit hours may double count for this minor and the Modern Language: French major.
- No grade of ‘D’ accepted toward the French Minor in Translation.

The French Minor in Translation requires the successful completion of 17 credits of the following courses.
