Students enrolled in Military Science can earn a Military Science Minor and can be members of the U.S. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). Successful completion of ROTC and the earning of a bachelor’s (or master’s) degree, can lead to an officer’s commission in the United States Army, Army Reserve, or National Guard. All Truman academic majors can participate in ROTC. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.

Program Requirements:

The Military Science Minor is open to all majors and requires the successful completion of the following courses totaling 15 credit hours:

MS 301 - Advanced Leadership Development Credit(s): 3
