History Minor

A history minor complements any degree offered at Truman. You pursue the wondrous complexities of the past while acquiring the skills and insight necessary to prepare for an exciting and fulfilling future. Our rigorous academic program stresses critical thinking, analytical reading, problem-solving, careful research, and effective writing and communication.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
2. At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.

Program Requirements:

The History Minor requires the successful completion of at least 18 credits that may include HIST 2011, HIST 2012, and courses at the 3000-level or above in History, or a related subject as approved by the History Department Chair.
