Musicology Minor

The Department of Music offers students the opportunity to minor in Musicology. This 15-credit-hour minor is for students who are interested to examine the forms, methods, and functions of music, in Western and non-Western cultures, apart from the applied study of musical performance. There is no audition to pursue the Musicology Minor.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
- At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.
- A minimum of 15 credit hours.
- No grade of ‘D’ is accepted to the Musicology Minor.
- Only six hours may be double counted from the Music major.
