GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.

Program Requirements:

The Chemistry Minor requires the successful completion of 15 credits of the following courses, including at least three credits of laboratory courses:

CHEM 310 - Biochemistry Laboratory Credit(s): 2
CHEM 312 - Foundations of Chemical Analysis Credit(s): 5
CHEM 322 - Instrumental Analysis Credit(s): 5 One of the five credits counts toward the credits of laboratory courses.
CHEM 323 - Thermodynamics and Kinetics Credit(s): 3
CHEM 324 - Thermodynamics and Kinetics Laboratory Credit(s): 2
CHEM 325 - Quantum Mechanics and Spectroscopy Credit(s): 3
CHEM 326 - Quantum Mechanics and Spectroscopy Laboratory Credit(s): 2
CHEM 329 - Organic Chemistry I Credit(s): 3
CHEM 330 - Organic Chemistry I Lab Credit(s): 1 CHEM 333 is equivalent to the combination of CHEM 330 and CHEM 332.
