GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

A 2.00 GPA in minor requirements.
At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.
A minimum of 15 credits in minor courses.

Program Requirements:

The Political Science and International Relations Minor requires the successful completion of 15-19 credits:

I. Choose at least one of the following courses:

POL 161 - American National Government Credit(s): 3
POL 171 - Introduction to Political Science Credit(s): 3
POL 250 - Introduction to International Relations Credit(s): 3

II. Choose at least one course from the following:

POL 300 - Political Science Methodology Credit(s): 4
POL 310 - Comparative Politics: Theory and Research Credit(s): 4
POL 398 - Advanced Survey of Political Thought Credit(s): 4
POL 410 - Advanced Public Policy: Theory and Research Credit(s): 4

III. Choose any three additional courses:

Choose any 3 additional Political Science and International Relations courses for 9-12 credits, at least two of which are at the 300 level or above. These may include courses in Category I or Category II above, but may not include POL 471 - Internship: Political Science .
