The School of Business offers students an opportunity to minor in Entrepreneurship. The application form for the minor can be found on the School website. Applications should be submitted to the Dean.

Business Administration and Accounting majors cannot pursue the Entrepreneurship minor.

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of 16-20 credits, including 11-14 credits in required courses and 5-6 credits in one additional course.
A 2.25 GPA in minor requirements.
At least nine hours of the program requirements must be completed at Truman State University.

Required Courses (11-14 credits):

The Entrepreneurship Minor requires the successful completion of 11 credits and entrepreneurial experience requirement.

INDV 210 - Creativity and Entrepreneurial Thinking Credit(s): 1
ACCT 220 - Introduction to Financial Accounting Credit(s): 3
BSAD 153 - Introduction to Business Data Analytics Credit(s): 1
BSAD 325 - Principles of Marketing Credit(s): 3
BSAD 415 - Entrepreneurship Credit(s): 3 *
BSAD 424 - Consulting for Small Businesses Credit(s): 3 *
OR Entrepreneurial internship or other significant experience related to entrepreneurship approved by the Entrepreneurship program coordinator.

NOTE: If BSAD 424 is chosen for this requirement, it cannot be used as one of the Two Additional Courses required for this program.
