Greek Minor

Program Requirements:

The Greek Minor requires the successful completion of 15 semester hours of the following courses:

• a) Three Greek courses numbered 200 and above; and
• b) Two of the following courses:
• any additional 300-level course(s) in Greek language

• ART 328 - The Art of Greece and Rome Credits: 3 hours
• CLAS 261 - Greek Literature in Translation Credits: 3 hours
• CLAS 361 - Greek and Roman Mythology Credits: 3 hours
• CLAS 362 - Classical Civilization Credits: 3 hours
• CLAS 363 - Women and Gender in Antiquity Credits: 3 hours
• COMM 390 - Classical Rhetoric Credits: 3 hours
• GRE 300 - Sacred Sites in Greece Credits: 6 hours
• GRE 301 - The Sacred Feminine: Goddesses and Mortal Women in Ancient Greece Credits: 3 hours
• HIST 342 - Ancient Greece Credits: 3 hours
• PHRE 336 - History of Philosophy I: Ancient Philosophy Credits: 3 hours

Note:

No grade of “D” will be accepted toward the Greek minor.
