Program Requirements:

The Political Science Minor requires the successful completion of 15 semester hours:

I. Choose at least one of the following courses:

POL 161 - American National Government Credits: 3 hours
or
POL 171 - Introduction to Political Science Credits: 3 hours

II. Choose at least two courses from the following:

POL 300 - Political Science Methodology Credits: 3 hours
POL 315 - Principles of Comparative Politics Credits: 3 hours
POL 345 - Public Policy-Making Credits: 3 hours
POL 468 - Political Thought Credits: 3 hours

III. Choose any two additional courses:

Choose any 2 additional Political Science courses for 6 credit hours, at least one of which is at the 300 level or above. These may include courses in Category I or Category II above.
