MUSI 340 - Music History I

Music development from pre-Christian times through the Classical era; musical examples and practice in stylistic analysis. Music is studied within a framework of cultural context.

Prerequisites: MUSI 131, MUSI 133, and MUSI 339.
Credits: 3 hours
