COMM 170 - Public Speaking Students may test out or place out of this course. Please contact the Communication Department Office for further information. This course develops an understanding of the fundamental principles and processes of human communication. Students practice and refine their skills as public speakers through frequent in-class presentations, critiques, and discussions.
Credits: 3 NOTE:
* This course fulfills the Speech Essential Skill of the Liberal Studies Program.
** This course counts toward the 63-credit Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) graduation requirement.
