CS 191 - Computing Structures


Uses the computer as a tool to introduce discrete structures and techniques for computing. Analysis of algorithms, methods of proof, counting techniques, and discrete probability.

Prerequisites: (CS 170 - Introduction to Computer Science I  or CS 180 - Foundations of Computer Science I ) and completion of Elementary Functions Essential Skill (MATH 156 - College Algebra  and MATH 157 - Plane Trigonometry  or MATH 186 - Precalculus  or MATH 192 - Essentials of Calculus  or MATH 198 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus I ).
