ECON 303 - Intermediate Macroeconomics


This course is a study of the determinants of the aggregate level of employment, income, and output of an economy. Attention is given to the role of price adjustments, the microeconomic underpinnings of macroeconomic analysis, as well as the economic impacts of fiscal and monetary policies.

Prerequisites: Grade of “C” or better in  ECON 200 - Principles of Macroeconomics  and Grade of “C” or better in  ECON 201 - Principles of Microeconomics , or Grade of “C” or better in  ECON 205 - Principles of Economics ; Grade of “C” or better in either MATH 192 - Essentials of Calculus  or MATH 198 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus I . ECON 300 - Intermediate Microeconomics  is recommended.
